Acropolis Aviation is recognised again with WYVERN Wingman status

Las Vegas, NV: Acropolis Aviation, the UK’s VVIP Airbus Corporate Jet charter operator, celebrated the renewal of its WYVERN Wingman status – for the fifth time – at the NBAA-BACE Convention yesterday. The certificate was presented to Kuky Salazar, Acropolis Aviation’s Vice President for the US and Latin America by Allison Markey, Director Audit Programs at WYVERN Ltd, at Acropolis’ Booth No. C9624.

WYVERN Wingman Certification is synonymous with adhering to industry best practices and the highest level of safety and protocols,” said Kuky Salazar.
Acropolis Aviation, based at the UK’s Farnborough Airport, has held WYVERN status since 2011.

To qualify for Wingman status, operators must successfully pass an onsite audit every two years, where flight, maintenance, and company business practices are evaluated against “The Wingman Standard.”
Carlo Montanini, UK-based Charter Sales Manager and Kuky Salazar are representing Acropolis Aviation at NBAA-BACE this week 21st, to 24th, October 2019.
They will be promoting the company’s new Airbus ACJ320neo, which is due to enter revenue services by the end of the year. The industry’s first ever ACJ320neo is currently completing its cabin outfitting at AMAC Aerospace in Basel, Switzerland.
Acropolis recently bolstered its management team with the addition of Mark Bird, formerly with Air Tanker, as Ground Operations Manager.

The Airbus ACJ320 family currently comprises the ACJ319neo, capable of flying eight passengers 6,750 nm/12,500 km or more than 15 hours, and the ACJ320neo, which can fly up to 25 passengers 6,000 nm/11,100 km.
In addition to their new fuel-saving engines and sharklets, ACJ320neo family aircraft have the widest and tallest cabins of any business jet, without costing more to operate or taking up more ramp space.
